Why Obesity?
Obesity is a deadly disease that affects 47% of Americans and on average shortens life span by 15 years. It is bigger than what we put in our mouths. Obesity is also about the way we live as people and the options available to us. Obesity is about the way we value steak and potatoes over salmon and salad. It’s about the overwhelming presence of high fructose corn syrup and saturated fats in our food sources.
